SCUBA Tanks – Our advanced fill station and containment system ensure every tank is filled safely and efficiently, helping protect both our customers and staff. We offer air and Nitrox fills, plus cylinder Hydrostatic Testing (hydros) and Visual Inspection Program (VIPs) to help keep your tanks current and dive-ready. A valid dive certification card is required for all air and Nitrox fills.

What makes diving in Tampa so special is the variety. Within a short drive or boat ride, you can explore offshore wrecks, artificial reefs, freshwater springs, caverns, and even fossil dive sites all in one region. The Gulf waters around Tampa are known for grouper, snapper, sea turtles, sharks, and large schools of fish, making every dive feel different. For spearfishers, it’s one of Florida’s top areas for hunting ledges and wrecks. And if ocean conditions aren’t perfect, crystal-clear spots like Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring or Rainbow River are just a short trip away, giving Tampa divers year-round underwater adventure.

Freshwater Springs & Caverns

Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring (~2 hrs from Tampa)
One of Florida’s most iconic cavern dives. Constant 72°F water, excellent visibility, dramatic rock formations, and a unique underground setting with light beams coming through the ceiling.
Blue Grotto Dive Resort (~2 hrs)
A clear freshwater cavern with training platforms, underwater air bells, and depths suitable for both newer and experienced divers.
Rainbow River (~1.5–2 hrs)
Crystal-clear drift diving with eelgrass, turtles, bass, and year-round visibility that often exceeds 100 feet.
Three Sisters Springs (~1.5 hrs)
Known for pristine spring water and seasonal manatee encounters. More snorkeling than technical diving, but a unique underwater experience.

Gulf Coast Wrecks & Reef Areas

Pinellas County Artificial Reef System (30–60 mins west of Tampa by boat access)
One of the largest reef networks on Florida’s Gulf Coast, featuring sunken tanks, bridge rubble, barges, and marine life like grouper, snapper, and amberjack.
Egmont Key Reef Area
Historic waters near the mouth of Tampa Bay with reef structures, limestone ledges, and occasional visibility windows in summer.
Middle Grounds (advanced/offshore)
Legendary Gulf ledges and deep reef systems known for big pelagics, grouper, and some of the best visibility in West Central Florida.

Fossil & Specialty Dives

Venice Shark Tooth Ledges (~1.5–2 hrs south)
Famous for fossil diving—especially prehistoric shark teeth, including megalodon fragments, in 20–40 feet of water.
Peace River
Freshwater fossil hunting for mammoth, mastodon, and shark teeth—more of a treasure-hunt dive than a traditional reef dive.
