Bought this with the AI transmitter before completing my AOW/Nitrox certifications. This thing is intuitive to use, easy to read, and built like a tank. Easy to read display, both on the surface in the sun and in low light down deep. Heard a few comments from others that they wish they'd purchased a computer with a larger screen instead of the watch size display due to it being difficult to read. Definitely overkill for the diving I do, but they seem to hold their value, have great customer support (so I've heard), and leave room for growth as you advance your skills. The only thing I don't love is the price. That being said, you get what you pay for.

Yes you will need a lithium battery for the vibration feature to function. We don't carry these specific batteries, but they are pretty widely available. Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA 1.5v is the brand Shearwater recommends -- you can find these at your local electronics store, or Amazon has a 12x pack for ~$35. And yes, you will be able to set the computer to read in either bar or PSI.

The customizable display allows you to customize your display with the information important to you. The less you have to mess with your dive computer underwater, the better. Vibration warning alerts draw your attention during critical moments during a dive. You can customize these alerts as well. Connect your Perdix 2 Ti Black to any PC or mobile device to allow via bluetooth with lower power consumption. You can then download and view dive logs in up to 13 languages.
