The Highland Technical Surface Marker Buoy (DSMB) is purpose-built for technical divers who require dependable deployment, maximum visibility, and rugged construction in demanding dive environments. Designed with the needs of rebreather, sidemount, decompression, and extended-range divers in mind, this closed-bottom DSMB delivers reliable surface signaling for offshore, technical, and advanced recreational dives.

Constructed from heavy-duty 420D nylon, the Highland Technical Marker Buoy is built to withstand repeated use in harsh underwater environments. Its closed-bottom design allows inflation using either the stainless steel oral inflator or a standard low-pressure inflator hose, providing flexibility for a variety of deployment methods. A large stainless steel attachment D-ring at the base offers a secure connection point for reels and spools, while the integrated over-pressure valve allows excess gas to vent automatically and simplifies deflation after the dive.

For maximum visibility at the surface, the buoy features 2-inch reflective tape wrapped around the entire circumference along with a white identification panel for writing names or dive information using a permanent marker. Measuring 45 inches long by 10 inches in circumference, the Highland Technical Marker Buoy provides excellent surface visibility while remaining compact enough to stow securely during the dive.
