This interactive event lets participants explore the scientific classification system while investigating the unique characteristics of molluscs. Through a hands-on squid dissection, you’ll gain practical experience learning about squid anatomy, adaptations, and the squid life cycle. We’ll even write with real squid ink, and everyone will take home a handmade art card.

The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission will be setting up an Educational Lobster Mini Season Booth right outside our Key Largo store. Additionally, the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute will also be present with their own booth, featuring live animals for display!
