Mares Planet Airmatic 62X Yoke Regulator

The Mares Planet 62X combines the premium breathing performance of the Planet second stage with the compact and lightweight 62X first stage. Designed for divers who want high-performance equipment without unnecessary bulk, this regulator delivers smooth, natural breathing in a streamlined package that is especially well suited for travel.

The Planet second stage features Mares Airmatic Technology, VAD (Vortex Assisted Design), and an all-metal construction designed to provide smooth airflow and excellent cold-water performance. Airmatic Technology uses a pneumatically balanced valve to reduce mechanical resistance, while VAD helps maintain unobstructed airflow for easy breathing throughout the dive. The second stage also includes a manual stop button to help prevent unwanted free flow and a side-mounted air shower knob that is easy to see and operate.

At the heart of the system is the compact 62X first stage - designed to reduce bulk while maintaining reliable performance. Its balanced diaphragm design and Auto Sealing Technology (AST) help protect the first stage from water entering the regulator when it is not pressurized. The first stage features a pearl chrome finish and four low-pressure ports plus two high-pressure ports for flexible hose routing.

The Planet 62X is also equipped with a lightweight Superflex hose, helping reduce the overall weight and improve flexibility in the water. With a total weight of 965 g in the yoke configuration, it provides a compact alternative for divers who prioritize lighter gear for travel while still wanting the performance and durability of a premium all-metal second stage.
