This small pole spear is great. It is not bulky so mobility while scuba diving is not restricted. It does the trick too! Every time I see a lion fish I am ready to protect the reef and take them out easily. The trident tip does a great job on any lion fish. It's reliable and sturdy.

It will cost double the price of the other one on their site, but it is totally worth the price. The power behind this sling is great and nails em every time. Great product. Will recommend.

The tip does not come off of the pole spear. In addition, this pole spear is 34 inches long.

The tip is fixed on this model. The tips are barbed as well.
