This is a great polespear for lionfish. Its handy and compact. Small enough to clip to your equipment and not be a bother to carry yet tough enough to handle eradicating lionfish.

Works well. Not too long to carry but not too short. The points need to be sharpened to be more effective. A small piece of 1/2" CPVC is good to cover the points while carrying it, say 5" long. Note, the smooth shaft can be hard to grip when ready to shoot. Some duct tape can help but may slip when wet. Or, consider a short piece of 20mm heat shrink tubing.

The diameter of the Paralyzer Tip on the Lionfish Pole Spear is roughly 2/3".

The draw force, being the further you pull back the band, will provide different force depending on various conditions of your environment.

The tip on the Lionfish Pole Spear with Paralyzer Tip is not interchangeable. However, check out the JBL Liontamer Exclusive 3' Aluminum Polespear (https://www.diversdirect.com/p/jbl-3ft-lion-tamer-pole-spear?queryID=7d285e71017c212360fe85df611dcafd&objectID=75133) which is a touch longer, but you can change the tip.
