So far this light has been an awesome addition to my dive gear. Bought as a rigged backup to be strapped to my BC webbing, it doubles as pointer when I need one. Best during night dives or in overhead/shadowed areas, it's amazingly noticeable by who tend to chase the laser pointer. The only caution that should be added is that the tether point hole is finished sharply and needs to be filed down prior to placing the wrist strap or a lined snap bolt on it. During my first dive, the standard rigging line I use to tie on bolt snaps mysteriously cut through. After finding the light, I replaced the severed line with 3 zip ties before the next dive. During that dive, the zip ties cut through. Once on the surface I realized the pre-fabbed hole was sharped edged. After filing the edge down and re-stringing, I've had no issues.
