When you pair this dive watch with your smartphone, you can install the Garmin Dive™ app and search for dive sites all over the world. The app comes in handy when you want to check and share your dive data and information too. With a dive log of up to 200 dives, you’ll have a lot to share.
On your surface intervals, this dive watch offers 24/7 wrist based monitoring of your heart rate, pulse Ox, and sleep habits. The Descent™ G1 can even alert you when you should probably slow down a bit. Designed to give you estimates of your activity, note that Pulse Ox is not available in all countries and this is not a medical device.

Per Garmin's website, "Garmin Outdoor watches use a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is not user-replaceable." Garmin requests that customers reach out to them for any issues with the battery.

These warnings are required by the State of California under Proposition 65. You can find information about it at www.P65warnings.ca.gov. Although we are located in Florida, we do ship to California and California requires that we notify its residents of any potential exposure to the chemicals listed on their website. The list currently has over 900 chemical substances some of which are naturally occurring (like metals) and some of which are synthetic (like plastics), with 'no significant risk level' (NSRL) of safe exposure established for only about a third of the list. P65 listed chemicals are associated with many common everyday items including automobiles, furniture, building materials, electronics, your cosmetics, and even foods and beverages. As such, as a consumer, you will likely see these warnings more frequently. A P65 warning notice does not mean that using a product will cause cancer or reproductive harm. By requiring this information be provided, the law enables Californians to be more informed about their exposures to P65 listed chemicals.
