The Cressi Gara 2000 HF has an extremely reactive and lightweight blade with a soft elastomer full foot pocket and stringers along the blade for perfecting the bend of the blade. These full foot fins are designed for deep freediving. Used by many world-class freediving competitors, the Cressi Gara 2000 HF Freediving Fins utilize a patented, three material design to produce a technically advanced freediving fin. The fin blade is constructed from a special, incredibly reactive polypropylene for extreme lightweight composition. The fin blade will progressively charge up during your stride underwater, acting like a spring the moment you invert your stride. This ability to charge through the water makes the Gara 2000 HF an ideal set of spearfishing fins. The full foot pocket is made with a soft elastomer for perfect transmission of the leg-fin thrust. Two stringers made of a solid copolymer run alongside the blade, which act to regulate and harmonize the bending of the blade, while protecting it from shock and abrasion. Take your spearfishing game to deeper depths with this extraordinarily light pair of spearfishing fins.

I've had these for about six months. No good at the surface for snorkelling around, but for deep freediving they really give you a boost. I prefer my fins a little more flexible, but they do the job. Amazing price compare to the carbon fins at 4-500 bucks.

I felt like they worked well. I had good propulsion out of each kick compared to my diving fins. I had a blister on the same toe of each of my feet after a one time use. I bought the fin EVO black socks to go with them. I think they helped a little but recommend buying a thicker neoprene pair with 1mm thickness.

Cressi does not offer any freediving fins with an open heel at this time. Hammerhead does have a fin with an open heel. Check out the HammerHead Kaudal Open Heel Spearfishing Fins (https://www.diversdirect.com/p/hammerhead-kaudal-fin-open-heel?queryID=89a9f08f94ad2d8ead24e140d14b7a9a&objectID=75073).
