The Venom Frameless Mask uses co-molded silicone to give you the best of both worlds. Two different types of silicones are blended together to form the mask skirt. The “Gummi Bear UltraSoft” silicone creates a reliable seal that's incredibly comfortable on your face. The outer skirt is made from a more rigid silicone that won't collapse, distort or fold under pressure. It keeps the skirt centered on your face for a reliable seal, even in turbulent conditions.

These Atomic Venom masks are very good masks. They are very durable and comfortable for wearing extended periods of time. However, there is one drawback with these masks and that is if the wearer has a mustache the mask will not seal completely at that site. The water poured into the mask on my first dive and I then realized what was happening and proceeded to shave my mustache. After that all was well but you need to keep that upper lip slick.

I went to divers divers direct to purchase this mask and also purchased the recommended scrub and spit fogging solution. Followed the instructions precisely then got in the water and this mask fogged instantly !!!! Did the same procedure again using the scrub and spit fogging solution and fogged instantly when I got in the water. For something to be over $150.00 there should be NO WAY this mask should fog up like this. I want either another product or my money back.

I purchased my first Venom in 2017 and have used it a lot in sites all over the world. The mask is comfortable and reliable in conditions from tropical balmy to almost freezing. I have a trimmed beard and mustache and the silicone rim is soft enough to stay gently sealed and water on the outside. My only regret is that the right strap anchor tore while donning the mask recently. I am a believer in stick with what works so after 8 years I am placing my replacement order today. I highly recommend this mask.
