Join Us and Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful for a special World Ocean Day Cleanup as we come together to protect our local waterways and celebrate the ocean that connects us all. Taking place on Monday, June 8, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Gandy Park South, this community cleanup will focus on removing litter from the park and the surrounding shoreline before it reaches Tampa Bay and the Gulf. All cleanup supplies will be provided, just bring your energy, enthusiasm, and passion for protecting our coastal environment.
Description
Volunteers can enjoy event t-shirts while supplies last, giveaways, light refreshments, and a rewarding morning making a real impact alongside fellow ocean advocates. Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle, sun protection, and your love for the outdoors. Every piece of trash removed helps protect marine life, improve water quality, and preserve healthy oceans for future generations. Space is limited, so be sure to register in advance and join us as we make waves for a cleaner, healthier Tampa Bay this World Ocean Day.
