Because of the DIN connection and piston control, the 2S first stage is an ideal-for-colder-water regulator, while the Rover second stage is designed to keep you breathing steadily and easily throughout your dive, even at depth—the Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) helps with this. The second stage is made with ultralight technopolymer so that you can hardly tell it’s there, while the chrome-plated, marine-grade brass that constructs the first stage is designed for durability and longevity.
