You recall that the trigger sear is cut from 1/4in 304 stainless steel, then you feel the energy transfer from the 17-4 heat treated spring stainless steel shaft down the streamlined muzzle in perfect alignment. Yeah, this is what spearfishing is meant to be.</p>
<p>Why buy a rail speargun rather than one without the rail? The rail assists in keeping the spear straight and gives the hunter more accuracy in shooting. And remember when you load your spear in the rail barrel, keep the spear line on top. If it falls under the rail shaft, it&rsquo;ll cause you to shoot low.</p>

<p>The latest innovation from Rob Allen the Tuna Railgun is fully rigged and ready to shoot with deadly accuracy.</p>
<p>The barrel integrates an extended rail that runs the full length and into the muzzle. It supports the spear and lines up with both the muzzle and the mechanism. It also increases the stiffness of the barrel and reduces flex. What does that mean for you? Dead accuracy, shot after shot. The Tuna Railgun is rounded out with quality materials and design. The barrel is aircraft grade aluminum with a wall thickness of 1.45mm. The low profile muzzle is smaller than conventional muzzles to reduce drag and increase maneuverability. The mechanism is manufactured from corrosion-resistant glass-reinforced nylon. It has a durable, solid 316 stainless steel sear. The gun comes standard with two Rob Allen green power bands at 5/8" thickness.</p>

<p>The US Carbo Railgun from Rob Allen is specifically designed for the US Market. This lightweight railgun is made from lightweight aircraft grade aluminum and features an ultra flat open muzzle design that allows for a larger sight window. Rob Allen also included 300lb monofilament, a 6.6mm double notched spear and 2 of their 14mm (9/16") black bands. Blacked out for a stealth look, you&rsquo;ll be the envy of all your friends with this speargun. With the Vecta 2 mechanism standard on this gun and the kevlar trigger, why wouldn't they include a solid 316 stainless steel sear? Of course they did, along with an integrated reel mount for your Rob Allen Composite Reel. Our only question - what&rsquo;s for dinner?</p>

<p>The SEAC Polpone Sling Gun looks like something out of a James Bond movie. Pop off every lionfish on the reef with this easy to load SEAC Polpone Sling Gun. A modification of the speargun, the sling gun effectively nails fish with a spring loaded shaft. This spring-loaded gun is just 24 inches long with the shaft loaded. The shaft clips into mounts attached to the side of the gun when it's not in use. Simply push the spear into the barrel until it locks into place, then release the safety and shoot! The three-pronged tip will have you catching fish like King Triton, and is absolutely lethal for lionfish -- hogfish and flounder wouldn't stand much of a chance either.</p>
