Mares Backplate Stainless Steel XR

The Mares Backplate Stainless Steel is heavy duty and gives you a little extra weight so you carry less when you’re diving. With bent lower edges, this highly technical backplate works with both the Mares Heavy Light Harness and the Mares Heavy Duty Harness as well as most other harnesses. Well thought out, this backplate has strategically placed slots and holes making it easy to get your tech rig set up just the way you want. Versatile and rugged, this backplate is ready to become part of your regular tech dive gear.

Mares Backplate Stainless Steel Features:

• 13 laser cut and laser etched slots
• 8 slots specially designed for optimum positioning of the harness webbing
• 2 upper and 2 lower slots for nylon cylinder bands for a single cylinder
• 2" wide crotch strap slot, 15 holes
• 3 holes at the top of the plate offer a range of height adjustments for buoyancy cells and cylinders
• A corresponding lower center slot allows for lower band bolts that are misaligned
• 4 upper and lower perimeter holes along either side and 4 holes along the bottom allow for the mounting of accessories and side-mount butt plate
