Which spear tip should I use?
The correct style of tip varies based on the specific animal you’re hunting. For spearfishing on the reef, we recommend a single-barb Hawaiian flopper tip. When spearing lionfish, use a paralyzer tip.
For large bluewater game, we recommend the breakaway tip. If you have a large, floundering fish attached to your shaft, it could warp the shaft. To keep your shaft protected in those instances, utilize a breakaway style tip.
