Smith Optics began in 1965 in Dr. Bob Smith's, orthodontist and ski bum, garage. For decades, the Smith Optics team has specialized in ski goggles, but also found that the adventurers and land and watersports enthusiasts of the world needed sun protection for their eyes in between their thrilling adventures, thus creating stylish and high quality sunglasses. By the 2000s, the Smith company really took off and expanded and they continue to create quality eyewear for anyone wishing to protect their eyes and get a clearer, more vivid view of the world.
