Sometime around 1952, Jack opened the first Surf Shop in a garage across the Great Highway. He shaped a few balsa surfboards and sold accessories like paraffin wax and a few vests he started gluing together from neoprene. When the vest started selling, Jack decided to go into the wetsuit business.
Many years have passed since 1952 and with them O'neill have grown to be one of the leading wetsuits manufacture's in the world. Today, O'neill carries a full line of wetsuits, sport clothing, tropical accessories and more. From dive shorties and full suits to rashguards and board shorts.
