The second stages offer the unique, patented VAD system (Vortex Assisted Design). This system eases breathing at all depths and is unrivaled on today's market. The working principle is very simple: air coming from the hose passes through the second stage valve and is conveyed directly to the mouthpiece through the by-pass tube, thus increasing regulator sensitivity. VAD Regulators offer improved performance and allows for very natural breathing.

How it Works – Returns/Exchanges

Divers Direct will gladly refund the purchase price or exchange any item purchased from us that is defective, the wrong size, color, style, fit, or does not meet your expectations for any reason. (Excludes all shipping charges).

We accept returns and exchanges at any of our retail locations OR via delivery to our fulfillment center regardless of how or where you made your original purchase with us.

1. Please send returns in ORIGINAL and UNUSED condition. Merchandise that is not in new condition or purchased more than 30 days ago may be subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price or may not be accepted. There is a 20% restocking fee for all returned camera and photo accessories, and all Brownies Explorers.

Bathing suits are items of personal hygiene and it is a Divers Direct policy not to accept returns or exchanges without the original tags still on the suit. Bathing suits may be returned for manufacturer’s defects within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt.
