The Brownie’s new Variable Speed technology has resulted in the world's first floating, battery-powered hookah systems capable of supporting multiple divers to recreational depths for over an hour! Divers and boaters who prefer not to store and handle gasoline now have a cleaner and greener option for hookah.

Based on the same compressor principles as Brownie’s world famous gas-powered systems, the VS Electric systems provide a smooth supply of air for up to 3 divers (with add a diver kit sold separately). Electric operation is cleaner and requires less service and maintenance than gasoline engines.

You can expect run times of 60-90 minutes on a fully charged battery set. You can easily extend your diving day with the purchase of a second set of batteries. The batteries are easily changed in just a few seconds - no tools required.

Brownie's unique patent pending technology adjusts the compressor's speed and output to the divers' need for air. When diving deep or working to fight a current, the compressor will run up to maximum speed. If breathing and demand decrease (with fewer divers or by diving at shallower depths), the compressor speed will automatically slow and may even temporarily stop; conserving battery power and extending dive time.

How it Works – Returns/Exchanges

Divers Direct will gladly refund the purchase price or exchange any item purchased from us that is defective, the wrong size, color, style, fit, or does not meet your expectations for any reason. (Excludes all shipping charges).

We accept returns and exchanges at any of our retail locations OR via delivery to our fulfillment center regardless of how or where you made your original purchase with us.

Please call 800-DIVE-USA to check availability for all exchanges. All refunds will be made to the original source of payment. Refund checks will take 15-30 days to process.

Please send returns in ORIGINAL and UNUSED condition. Merchandise that is not in new condition or purchased more than 30 days ago may be subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price or may not be accepted. There is a 20% restocking fee for all returned camera and photo accessories, and all Brownies Explorers.

Bathing suits are items of personal hygiene and it is a Divers Direct policy not to accept returns or exchanges without the original tags still on the suit. Bathing suits may be returned for manufacturer’s defects within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt.
