Your course is divided into two parts:

• Dive Knowledge Review - this course begins with a review of your Open Water academics, followed by a review of planning and conducting dives, whether using dive tables or a personal dive computer.
 • Skills Review – next, your instructor will conduct a review of basic in-water scuba skills and make sure you are comfortable executing them. Arrangements may be made with your instructor to expand this course to include an open water dive session on one of our local dive charter boats.

Simply contact the Divers Direct store of your choice to register for this course. If there are no classes listed on our Event Calendar that meet your needs, one of our store managers will work with you to schedule a class.

Previous certification as an Open Water Diver from a recognized training agency.

• Scuba skills development and facilities fees
• Academic class sessions
• Use of Student Dive Gear: regulator, gauges, dive computer, tanks, air fills and weights (if you do not have your own scuba gear)

•If you make arrangements with your instructor to expand your Open Water Refresher course, you are responsible for all facility and/or boat fees for the Open Water dives
•Personal dive gear, to include mask, fins, snorkel and exposure protection (wetsuit) appropriate for the local conditions.

•Some medical conditions will prevent you from diving. Some of the more common conditions are Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy and heart or lung conditions. Pregnancy is also a contraindication to diving. Some other medical conditions may also be a problem. If you are unsure about any specific condition, please contact us.
• The minimum age to participate in this course is 10 or 12, depending on certifying agency.
