Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. By working closely with one of our highly qualified instructors in the Divemaster course, you will expand your academic dive knowledge and hone your diving skills to a professional quality. The topics and practical applications covered in this course range from a ground-level review to complex underwater exercises.
Overview
Our PADI Divemaster Course is personally designed for each candidate based on the time availability of the candidate and the opportunities available to learn and practice skills during the internship phase of the course. Some candidates may be able to complete the course in two to three weeks while other candidates may need several months to complete the requirements. Emphasis is placed on personal and professional development of the individual candidates - not on the time needed to complete the course.Registration

Various qualification and pre-screening activities are required prior to participation in this course. Please contact a Divers Direct store or our Director of Instruction for the requirements of each certifying agency.

•Personal dive gear, to include mask, fins, snorkel and exposure protection (wetsuit) appropriate for the local conditions, as well as personal BCD, regulator with alternate air source, SPG and compass (dive computer preferred).Students must also provide a "pocket mask" for rescue breathing and other accessories required for the course.
Important Information
•Some medical conditions will prevent you from diving. Some of the more common conditions are Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy and heart or lung conditions. Pregnancy is also a contraindication to diving. Some other medical conditions may also be a problem. If you are unsure about any specific condition, please contact us.•The minimum age to participate in this course is 18.
