My wife gave this to me as a gift in 2005. I absolutely love it. I usually get a bit tired when diving, especially if there are currents, not so with this bad boy. With my Sea-doo I just glide effortlessly around the reefs and wrecks. It really makes the whole dive more enjoyable. The angel fish think I'm sexy too. Unfortunately, on my last dive, after I charged and placed the battery, I forgot to tighten the bright red plug that has a warning label that reads something to effect of 'be sure to tighten this plug before diving'. The battery compartment flooded and the scooter hasn't worked since. The manual says the motor compartment is water tight and not to worry if you forget to place the plug as all will be fine when the scooter dries out, but this was not the case with mine. So my advice is... Buy this scooter if you can afford it but Dont forget to seal the battery compartment before you dive.

I took this item with me to Hawaii. My father has bad knees and is pretty old. He took it out and left me behind. I couldn't keep up with him. He loved every second because it did all of the work for him. If you love to snorkel do yourself a favor and get one of this SeeDoo. If not the expensive one get the one you can aford and you won't regret that decision.

Ordered as a Christmas gift for my husband. He had used a friend's and thought it was great. Said he would leave clothes behind when packing for vacation so he could take the scooter.
