My father put it on my mask and I have not had to bother with it once - I just disconnect from the mask and carry to my room so it is not left behind or hurt in the crowded boats. I have long finger nails too and it is very easy to take on and off without breaking a nail. Your hands are soft after diving and there is nothing worse than cutting your hands - this is wonderful.
