The best caracteristic of this product is that is is very easy to put on,and take off and it's good for the temperature of waters we have in south Florida after summer, wich is not freezing but it is cold enough to cause hipotermia after several hours inside water, a 3mm is a good choice to keep warm and avoid all difficulties of a thicker protection (for example a 6.5 mm)
Something I wish I can find is a complete suit for example 1.5 mm for summer time, it sounds ilogic for summer but the reason is the next: a 1.5 mm wont really offer protection from "cold" water during summer, but it will protect you against many corals and jellyfishes, as well as other toxic marine compounds, this year I had a bad experience with jellyfishes, I was snorqueling and in less than 6 minutes I was in among hundreds of jellyfish, this sitiation with the proper protection maybe funny and interesting, but without it it's dangerous, and returning to the original point a 3mm maybe to hot for summer time, a 1.5 will offer protection but at the same time it allows you to still "fresh"

Liked it and wear everytime I go body surfing.
I only use it in a pool out of season but it worked great for me. I found and ordered it online, no hassle, no problem.
I find it an excellant hood. Well made and fits the face perfectly.Does obstruct your vision. Would buy another when this one has to be replaced.

It fits great and easy to put on and off. Especially good for medium cold water conditions.

I wore this product in the cold waters of the Galapagos Islands and it was great. It kept me warm, prevented my head from getting sunburned, kept my hair out of my face, and held my mask in place while I snorkeled. Great product!!

I have a thicker hood I use with my drysuit, but I find the Evo 3mm hood provides protection when diving with my wetsuit or skins in warm and cool water; I use it when making multiple or extended open water dives or for added protection when making penetration dives into wrecks

Met expectations, bought 2 more. Opening is kind of small for face.
