The Luxfer 50 cu.ft. is the ideal size for small children or individuals doing shallow reef dives and provides an adequate air supply for them. Smaller than a 63 cu.ft. cylinder it is a good option for those individuals or when longer air supplies are of less concern.

I bought this tank for my sister, a new diver and a fairly small woman. The small tank fits the trunk length of her body and is lighter weight than the full sized tanks. The smaller size made it easier to handle out of the water and the shorter length makes it more comfortable to dive with. The smaller capacity was not a problem on shallow, warm water dives. She still could dive for an hour without getting below 500 psi. The tank itself perfomed well and up to our expectations.
