Yes this tank is $[...] more than the aluminum, but with the smaller size(8 inches) and 8.7 pounds lighter than a neutral aluminum it makes diving less strenious and more enjoyable. Add the longer lifespan, and you have one great product. A must have for shorter divers, and a huge help for the ladies. My wife will not dive without these tanks.

I've only used on one shallow dive but felt very comfortable using it. Knowing it is made out of steel and has over 3000 psi.of air inside, I thought this must be the safest cylinder around.
