No, I would not recommend this to a friend
First of all, the bezel is a joke. The rounded shape and tiny notches make it impossible to use unless you have long fingernails.
Most important, it doesn't last before leaking. I went through two in two years. The first lasted 2 weeks, the second 20 months. Both leaked at around 90 fsw. I suspect poor quality neoprene seals.
On the positive side, very easy to read, even during night dives. The case and straps are really rugged.
