By TimmybighandsVerified Purchaser from Keys, FL on 8/28/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight
Cons:

Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:
Beginner, Recreational Diver
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Well, I've logged only 43 dives so my word is not the be-all end-all but I have to say... This is my 2nd reg already. I moved up from a Rebel 2 - and WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I see now what everyone says about buying what you really want first instead of continually upgrading.

The V16 proton metal leaves no cotton mouth, easy breathing, balanced, and is very low drag/lightweight. That was my favorite part. I was so sick of the jaw fatigue from draging large regulators through the water.

A great reg set for the price! Go for it!

Great mouthpiece, but lacks key feature
By LawHuskyVerified Purchaser from South Windsor, CT on 8/12/2007
Pros:
Durable, Good Value
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is a great mouthpiece, but it lacks a ridge to help it stay put with a zip-tie. If it had one of these, I would be much happier with the product.

Data Mask a must have!
By Jimmy the Helper Boy from Orlando, Florida on 8/6/2007
Pros:
Durable, Good Value, High Quality
Best Uses:
Underwater photography
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I had the opportunity to use it while diving in Dominica. It was my first time using an underwater camera and having my air-time remaining at the glance of an eye was extremely beneficial! The mask is a definite must have if you plan on taking photo/videos underwater.

Chose it due to comfort
By Ron FVerified Purchaser from Orlando, fl on 7/11/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Decent Storage, Plenty of clips
Cons:
Expensive

I'm new to scuba and the dive shop I was certified at only had Mares equipment. I felt comfortable in the Mares travel BCD, but felt confined in the full version. The Oceanic had the comfort of the lighter Mares vest, but had pockets and better storage.[...]

WORLD CLASS FINS
By Florida Diver from Fort Lauderdale, Fl on 7/6/2007
Pros:
High Quality
Best Uses:
scuba
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I was a traditional blade fin user until I bought the Tusa Xpert Zoom Fins. I couldn't believe how efficient these split fins were. I was able to move at a good speed with little effort. I was a little worried about strong currents but when I put them to the test I was able to plow through with a stronger kick. What makes these fins great is that I no longer get those dreaded leg & calf cramps! I have become a fan of the split fins!
