i was so impressed i bought 3 more and carry one with me at work in the truck and at home. excellent to use for nearly every project and is lightwight and easy to hold.

I have three of these Q40 lights! They are Great! One is always attached to my mask now. I went on a night dive shortly after getting my C-card a number of years ago and my dive partner's light died. I gave them my main light and pulled out my little Q40 - I wasn't about to call off the dive - and that little light worked great! I could see almost as far (better then 90% of the distance) as I could with the main light. This could almost be used as a main light but the beam pattern isn't as wide.
The light on my mask has been on there for about 10 years now. I've changed masks but it's the same light and only the second bulb. The batteries seem to last a long time as well. I use it even when snorkeling/diving in the daytime to look under ledges and in crevices.
The light output from this light-weight dive light is awesome! That is why I have three of them - one for the house - and one for the truck. I used to carry a "mag" light in the truck but after the third time I bumped or tapped the mag light against something and broke the bulb, I gave it away.
My biggest wish for this light? ...that they would sell them in a package deal like 6 for $100 or something...as these are a great little gift for your dive partners and land lubbers alike.
