I use this box to hold my wallet and cell phone. Great seal. I use it when I ride my jet ski's, boating, and just place it inside my dive gear back. Outter case is always wet and I have never had any problems with the seals. I have owned it for about 1 year and have not ever had to add silicone to the seal. Great product
