Looking for a way to keep some small items out of harms way? I did, with the rental car's key being a power lock remote, so keeping it in the swim trunks' inner pocket was out of the question ... Pelican case was a nice addition to all my dive gear, being small and handy, still big enough to hold the keys or a mobile phone, either for swimming, or to keep it dry on the dive boat ...
Bright yellow case, so it's easily visible, and rugged case to take a beatin' ...
All in all, a good choice, and with multiple sizes available, you should be able to find one that will suit your needs!
It was great, I can hold my money , Room key and Credit card and take it in the water. This way I dont have to worry if they steal my bag.
This is another outstanding quality product from Pelican. This is sized just right for a cell phone or small digital camera. It opens and closes easily and quickly. And it's padded to protect contents. I've owned many Pelican cases and this small case is another example of their consistent attnetion to detail and realiable waterproof and mechanical protection.
We have a couple of the Pelican 1010 cases. They are the perfect carrier for the small digital cameras today. We have used ours for a couple of Nikon Coolpix and an HP. They ride in our computer backpack all the time and we don't have to worry about them being damaged. It is also nice for in the canoe, or on the beach, but the everyday use is what I find the most valuable.
Very useful piece of stuff. Everyone should have at least one of these things.
The Pelican 1010 Case provides excellent protection for my digital camera, which is precisely the purpose I bought it for. I just throw the case with camera inside into my bag and have it with me every day. I never worry about exposure to rain, dust, or from falling from slight heights on to hard surfaces because of this case. It is solid and lives up to it's claims. My only complaint is that it is heavy--but this is a side effect of its solid construction. Essentially, it wieghs three or four times more than my digital camera--so it's inconvienient to put in a pocket or such, but great for in the backpack or sholder bag. If wieght is a serious concern, go with somethin less secure.
