never leaked ,used for 18years very bright for its size. the new eSL6 has a larger beam but when you compensate and move it closer so both beams are same size they have equal brightness, You can notice the blue tinge to the eSL6 which probably means it would penetrate the water better. Bulbs for regular SL6 are $10 so in long run eSL6 would pay for its extra cost.

This light is a great backup item that performs well,doesn't take alot of room to store and doesn't weigh you down.

Good backup, and good to use during the day to light up those small cracks and voids under the reef.

I have used this light for tech backup, recreational use, firefighting backup, very bright, very tough, I love the on/off switch. The only drawback is the cheapo lanyard...but thats an easy fix.

It is a back up light that goes in my bc pocket. Even at night it gives enough light. I have a HID as a primary.
