My experience with the product is limited. I've only had it a few months and I've only used it twice. It has performed very well at those times, and, so far, I have no problems with it. My experience with the manufacturer have been excellent. In the space of one month, both my colleague and I had leaks in other (older) Princeton Tec products. A quick phone call to the company, and we shipped our lights to them. We had brand new replacemnts within 10 days.
I use this light for a compact light that I can carry everytime I dive so that I can look into openings in the coral. It is also a great back-up light on a night dive.
Love it
i got five of these lights for my fire dept and every one uses it all the time and have never had any problems with it
I use the light as a backup when night diving. Its compact so I keep it in my BC all the time and found it very beneficial for illuminating holes even during daylight hours.
As a maintenance diver in mostly shallow waters, I use several lights and this one works well thus far. I have bought some that have failed very quickly.
Princeton Tec has great customer service. They trully do stand behind their products and honor warranties. The company that replaces a flooded light deserves all my future purchases. I own 6 dive lights and they all are Princeton Tec brand.
worked great!
This light works well as a reserve light - my only complaint about it is the fact that this light, like all twist-on lights, self-illuminates at depth due to the increasing pressure. This isn't so big of a deal on a night dive as you notice the additional light source fairly quickly, but can be a shock on a day dive.
