I love the functionality of the watch but the IRIS unit is very difficult to set-up on the computer. When first setting the IRIS up and it isn't communicating with your computer, you have no way of knowing if your computer settings are wrong or if the watch is defective. The technology of the IRIS is antiqueated (9-pin connection and not USB-which is available per support). Support for the IRIS is top-secret and is not printed in any of the documents (FYI: go to http://glfp.homeip.net/irissupport/) The software should be more user friendly and be able to locate the IRIS when it is connected to your computer instead of you having to manipulate the port settings manually. You cannot contact the IRIS support by telephone and this can only be done by e-mailing them and then wait for an answer. [...]

It works well, and the graphs are nice, but it didn't survive in my suitcase. Leave it at home and download your dives when you get home.
