Have model with old velcro on weight pockets, have never had a problem
Love this BC: comfortable, easy to adjust, rear trim pockets make it easy to dial in.
Recommend highly.

solid back mounted performer

Very good overall, good in water stability, lots of lift, good inflator, but needs pockets. Keep your weight belt and use the weight pouches or add your own accessory pockets.

Mares Journey M.R.S. BCD

I found it comfortable and an excellent value. Nice to have so many D rings. My only negative comment is that the user must be very careful to ensure the weight pockets are secured properly to the bc. I almost lost a weight pocket at 80 feet because I did not have it correctly secured to the bc. From that point on, I have been very careful to double check that the pocket is properly fitted into the slide and locked into place.

Good Equipment at a Good Price

I have only used it a couple of times. I had difficulty re-attaching weight pocket when I inadvertently released it while in the water. Problem may be my inexperience with the new equipment. Vest is well made but I need to get more experience with it to fully evaluate it properly.

I use it for recreational diving. It has all the features I need and works as expected. Made very well and is comfortable. It works better than other BCD's for far more money. It is also very easy to adjust for comfort.

Great Value

Durable, Good Value, High Quality

Rear inflation is very comfortable and was easy to get use to. While the quick release weight system is simple to use; if you are a bottom dweller (like me), you will get sand in the release mechanism and it takes some time to get it out. Overall, a very well made BCD- I would definitely recommend this as a purchase.
